Effective date: [DATE — insert when published] | Last updated: May 2026
This Subscription Agreement ("Agreement") governs your subscription to Insentify, LLC's ("Insentify," "we," "our," "us") subscription greeting card delivery service (the "Service"). This Agreement is part of our Terms of Service and incorporates our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy by reference.
IMPORTANT NOTICES: • This Agreement includes AUTOMATIC RENEWAL. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle until you cancel. • ANNUAL PLANS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE once your first Card has been sent. See Section 4.2 and the Refund Policy for details. • Your BILLING CYCLE is anchored to your signup date, not to the calendar month. • Scheduled cards must fall within your COVERAGE HORIZON (see Section 9). • You can cancel auto-renewal at any time through your account or by emailing hello@insentify.com.
1. Subscription Plans and Card Types
Insentify offers two subscription plan tiers: Essentials and Family. Each tier is available in Monthly and Annual billing frequencies. All plans include a defined allocation of Physical Cards and E-Cards per billing cycle.
1.1 Card Types
- "Physical Cards" are physically printed greeting cards produced and mailed via our fulfillment partners
- "E-Cards" are electronic greeting cards delivered via email or SMS
- Physical Cards and E-Cards are tracked separately; limits apply independently to each
1.2 Monthly Plans
Monthly Plans bill on monthly cycles. Your billing date is anchored to your signup date (e.g., if you sign up on the 15th, you will be billed on the 15th of each month). Each Monthly Plan includes a defined number of Physical Cards and E-Cards per monthly cycle. Monthly Plans offer full flexibility — Unused Cards are refundable on a pro-rata basis at any time (see Refund Policy).
1.3 Annual Plans
Annual Plans bill in a single upfront payment covering a 12-month subscription term. Each Annual Plan includes a defined annual allocation of Physical Cards and E-Cards available for use anytime within the 12-month term. Annual Plans are offered at a discounted rate compared to the equivalent Monthly Plan. In exchange for the discount:
- Annual Plans are fully refundable until your first Card has been submitted for printing or e-card delivery (the "Trial Window")
- After the Trial Window, Annual Plan payments are NON-REFUNDABLE
- You may cancel auto-renewal at any time, but you will not receive a refund for Unused Cards once your first Card has been sent
- Unused Cards expire at the end of the annual term and do not carry over, subject to Section 1.5
1.4 Annual Plan Flexibility
Annual Plan allocations may be used in any pattern within the 12-month term. For example, a subscriber with an Annual Plan that includes 12 Physical Cards may use all 12 in a single month (such as December) or spread them evenly across the year. There is no monthly sub-cap within Annual Plans.
1.5 Rollover Policy
At this time, Unused Cards do not roll over between billing cycles. We may introduce rollover as a plan feature in the future. Any rollover terms (including applicable caps or expiration rules) will be disclosed at the time you purchase or renew a plan that includes rollover.
2. Subscription Fees and Billing Cycles
You agree to pay the subscription fee disclosed at checkout for your selected plan, plus any applicable taxes.
2.1 Billing-Anchored Cycles
Your billing cycle is anchored to your signup date. Monthly Plans renew on the monthly anniversary of your signup; Annual Plans renew on the annual anniversary. For signups on dates that do not exist in every month (such as the 31st), billing occurs on the last day of shorter months.
2.2 Advance Billing
Subscription fees are billed in advance at the start of each billing cycle. If we change the price of a subscription, we will notify active subscribers at least thirty (30) days before the change takes effect; if you do not wish to accept the new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
3. Add-On Purchases
3.1 Availability
You may purchase additional Physical Cards ("Add-Ons") beyond your Base Allocation in any billing cycle. Add-On availability applies to both Monthly and Annual Plans.
3.2 Sliding Pricing
Add-On pricing follows a sliding scale that begins at a base price for the first Add-On in a given cycle and increases with each subsequent Add-On within that same cycle. The exact pricing schedule is displayed to you at the time of purchase before you complete the transaction. Add-On counts and prices reset at the start of each new billing cycle.
3.3 Upgrade Notifications
After you purchase a certain number of Add-Ons in a billing cycle, we may display a non-blocking notice suggesting that you consider upgrading to a larger plan tier (such as Family) or to an annual billing frequency for better per-card value. You are not required to upgrade.
3.4 Add-On Refunds
Add-On purchases are non-refundable once the associated Card has been scheduled to a recipient or occasion, subject to the limited 24-hour refund window described in the Refund Policy. See the Refund Policy for full details.
3.5 Add-On Expiration
Each Add-On credit expires 30 days after the date of purchase. Unused Add-On credits are not refunded after expiration and do not carry over. The 30-day window is per-credit and runs from each individual Add-On's purchase date, regardless of plan cadence or billing cycle. Subscription cancellation does not accelerate Add-On expiration; Add-Ons retain their full 30-day window even if the subscription has ended.
4. Payment Authorization
By subscribing, you authorize Insentify (and our payment processor) to charge your designated payment method for the subscription fee, applicable taxes, and any Add-On purchases you initiate, on a recurring or one-time basis as applicable until you cancel. You represent that you are the authorized user of the payment method and agree to keep your payment information accurate and current.
5. Automatic Renewal, Cancellation, and Required Notices
5.1 Automatic Renewal
YOUR SUBSCRIPTION AUTOMATICALLY RENEWS. Unless you cancel before the end of your current billing cycle, your subscription will automatically renew for another billing cycle of the same length, and we will charge your payment method the then-current subscription fee plus applicable taxes.
- For Monthly Plans, renewals occur every month on your billing anniversary date
- For Annual Plans, renewals occur every twelve (12) months on your annual anniversary date
5.2 Acknowledgment of Annual Plan Non-Refundability
If you subscribe to an Annual Plan, you acknowledge that:
- Your payment covers a full 12-month subscription term
- You have a Trial Window during which you may request a full refund — this window remains open until your first Card has been submitted for printing or e-card delivery
- After the Trial Window, your Annual Plan payment is NON-REFUNDABLE
- You may still cancel auto-renewal at any time to prevent future annual charges
- You accept these terms in exchange for the discounted annual pricing
This acknowledgment will be presented to you with a mandatory confirmation checkbox at checkout before your Annual Plan purchase is completed.
5.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time:
- Through your account settings at insentify.com, or
- By emailing hello@insentify.com
For Monthly Plans: Cancellation is effective at the end of your current billing cycle. You may continue to use remaining Cards in your Base Allocation through the end of the cycle. Pro-rata refunds for Unused Cards are issued per the Refund Policy.
For Annual Plans: Cancellation disables auto-renewal. If you cancel within the Trial Window (before your first Card is sent), you receive a full refund per the Refund Policy. If you cancel after the Trial Window has ended, your subscription continues until the end of the annual term (no additional refund), then terminates without renewal.
5.4 Cancellation Is As Easy As Signup
Consistent with New York General Business Law Section 527-a and applicable federal rules, if you signed up online, you may cancel online through the same method. We will not require you to call or speak with a representative to cancel.
5.5 Renewal Reminders for Annual Plans
For Annual Plans, we will send you an email reminder at least fifteen (15) days before each automatic renewal, including the renewal date, the amount that will be charged, and a link to manage or cancel your subscription.
5.6 Price Change Notice
If your subscription price increases, we will provide notice at least thirty (30) days before the change takes effect. If you do not cancel before the effective date, the new price will apply to your next billing cycle.
6. Free Trials and Promotional Offers
We may offer free trials or promotional pricing from time to time. Unless otherwise stated:
- At the end of a free trial, your subscription will convert to a paid subscription at the standard rate and you will be charged accordingly, unless you cancel before the trial ends
- Promotional pricing applies only during the specified promotional period and does not apply to renewals unless expressly stated
- Free trials and promotional offers are limited to one per household
We will always disclose the specific terms of any free trial or promotion at signup, and will never use a free trial to bypass the refund rules of Section 5.2.
7. Failed Payments
If we are unable to charge your payment method, we may:
- Retry the charge up to several times over the following days
- Notify you by email and request that you update your payment information
- Pause or suspend your Service until payment is resolved
- Cancel your subscription if payment cannot be resolved within a reasonable time
8. Changes to Your Subscription
You may upgrade, downgrade, or change plan types at any time through your account settings or by emailing hello@insentify.com. The following rules apply to plan changes:
- Upgrades and plan changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle unless we indicate otherwise
- Unused Cards from your prior plan do not carry over to your new plan
- Add-On purchases from your prior plan's billing cycle do not transfer
- Switching from an Annual Plan to a Monthly Plan during the Trial Window qualifies as a cancellation of the Annual Plan (subject to Section 3.1 of the Refund Policy) plus a new monthly subscription
- Switching from an Annual Plan to a Monthly Plan after the Trial Window has ended does not entitle you to a refund of the Annual Plan; the Annual Plan continues until the end of its term
9. Coverage Horizon and Scheduled Cards
9.1 Coverage Horizon
You may schedule Cards with send dates up to eighteen (18) months from the date of scheduling, regardless of your plan type (your "Coverage Horizon"). Scheduling within this Coverage Horizon is constrained by your available allocation as described below:
- When you commit a scheduled Card, an allocation slot is debited from the billing cycle in effect at the moment you commit the schedule. Add-On credits, if available, are debited before Base Allocation
- If your current billing cycle’s allocation has been fully consumed, additional scheduled Cards may enter a "pending" state. Pending Cards consume the next available billing cycle’s allocation when that cycle begins, provided the next cycle begins early enough for the Card to be submitted on time. Pending Cards that cannot be resolved before their submission deadline will not be fulfilled
- The number of pending Cards you may have at any time is limited to twice your current cycle’s Base Allocation of Physical Cards
- Cards with send dates beyond your eighteen (18) month Coverage Horizon cannot be scheduled. Future dates beyond this horizon may still be saved as reminders (see Section 9.2)
9.2 Future Event Reminders
You may save future dates (such as birthdays or anniversaries) to your personal reminder calendar in the Service even if those dates fall beyond your current Coverage Horizon. We will notify you as the date approaches so you can schedule a Card if your subscription is active and has available allocation at that time. Saving a future event to your reminder calendar does not reserve or schedule a Card and does not guarantee fulfillment.
9.3 Effect of Cancellation on Scheduled Cards
If you cancel your subscription, Cards for which an allocation slot has already been debited from a billing cycle you have paid for will be honored and fulfilled at their scheduled time, even if the scheduled send date falls after your subscription term ends. Pending Cards (those waiting for future-cycle allocation that has not yet begun at the time of cancellation) will not be fulfilled, and no refund will be issued for them because they were never billed against an active cycle. Add-On credits that have not been consumed by a committed scheduled Card will expire 30 days after their original purchase date (subscription cancellation does not accelerate Add-On expiration) and are not refunded upon subscription cancellation, except as provided in the Refund Policy.
10. Recipient Information and Card Review
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate recipient names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses
- Setting correct occasion dates (birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, etc.)
- Updating recipient information if it changes
- Ensuring you have the right to send Cards to each recipient
- Reviewing scheduled Cards during the pre-send review window (typically approximately 7 days before send date) if you wish to edit content, recipient address, signature, card design, or delivery method
Cards that cannot be delivered due to incorrect information you provided are not eligible for refund or replacement. If you do not respond to review notifications, Cards will be fulfilled as scheduled using the default settings.
11. Service Modifications and Discontinuation
We reserve the right to modify the Service, discontinue features, or change subscription plan benefits at any time with reasonable notice. If a modification materially and adversely affects your subscription, we will offer you the option to cancel and receive a pro-rated refund based on the unused portion of your current term, notwithstanding the non-refundability rules of Section 5.2.
12. Termination by Insentify
We may suspend or terminate your subscription:
- If you violate these Terms, the Terms of Service, or applicable law
- If your payment method fails and cannot be resolved
- To protect the Service or other users
- As required by law
If we terminate your subscription other than for your violation, we will refund any unused portion of your current billing cycle, notwithstanding the non-refundability rules of Section 5.2.
13. Notices
We will send notices (including renewal reminders, price change notices, review and approval notifications, and material changes) to the email address associated with your account, and by SMS if you have opted in. You are responsible for keeping your contact information current.
14. Contact

15. Acknowledgment

- Your billing cycle is anchored to your signup date
- Your plan includes a specific allocation of Physical Cards and E-Cards tracked separately
- Add-On purchases follow a sliding price scale that resets each billing cycle
- Add-Ons are non-refundable once scheduled, except in limited circumstances

- Cancellation is as easy as signup
