About the service

What exactly is Insentify?

A subscription that sends real, hand-written greeting cards to the people you care about — for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and any other date that matters. You add the recipients and the dates once. We handle the rest, with you reviewing each card before it goes out.
Who is Insentify for?

The forgetful well-meaner. The thoughtful gift-giver. The overwhelmed multitasker. Anyone who wants to be the person who shows up — without having to remember every date or carve out time you don't have.

What plans are available?

Two: Essentials ($14/mo or $129/yr) for 1 physical card and 3 e-cards per month, and Family ($34/mo or $319/yr) for 3 physical cards and 8 e-cards per month. Annual plans save 22–23% vs paying monthly.
What if I run out of cards in a busy month?

You can add extras as you go. Essentials add-ons start at $7 per card; Family add-ons start at $6. Each additional card adds $1 to the price (resets each month). If you're regularly adding extras, we'll suggest a plan that fits better.
What happens if I don't use all my cards in a month?

On monthly plans, unused cards don't roll over — your allocation refreshes on your billing date. On annual plans, your full year's allocation is yours to use however you want, whenever you want, across the next 12 months.
Can I switch plans?

Not yet — but soon. We're building seamless plan changes for our official launch, so early subscribers can move between Essentials and Family, or between monthly and annual, with one click.
What's your refund policy?

For monthly plans, you can cancel anytime and we'll refund any unused base cards in your current cycle. For annual plans, you can cancel for a full refund any time before your first card is sent — once your first card is on its way, the annual plan is locked in for the year. You can always cancel auto-renewal so you won't be charged again next year. Add-on cards are non-refundable.

How does the AI know what to write?

It uses what you've told us — your relationship to the recipient, the occasion, anything you've shared about them (interests, recent life events, inside jokes). It drafts a thoughtful starting point, then you review and edit before it goes out.
Can I edit the message before it sends?

Yes. Every card is drafted 7 days before send, and you get an email with the draft. You can approve as-is, edit anything, skip the send, or just do nothing — if you don't respond, we send the draft on time. We also send a 3-day reminder.
Can I use my own handwriting?

Not yet, but it's on the roadmap. For launch, we use one of dozens of natural handwriting styles available through our printing partner. Custom handwriting capture is something we'd love to offer down the line.
Can multiple people sign one card?

Yes. Cards can be signed however you want — "Love, Mom & Dad," "Love, the whole family," "Yours, Sarah and the kids." You set the signature line per recipient.

How many recipients can I have?

As many as you want. Your plan controls how many cards go out each month, not how many people are in your address book. You can have 100 recipients on Essentials — you'll just need to choose which ones to send to in any given month, or skip some occasions.
What happens for holidays I don't celebrate?

You control which holidays apply to which recipients. We handle the major ones automatically (birthdays, anniversaries, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Valentine's Day, Christmas, Hanukkah, and more), but you can skip any that don't fit, and add ones that aren't on the standard list.
I just signed up — when does my first card go out?

Whenever your next event is. If you've added a recipient with a birthday in two weeks, that's your first send. Your billing cycle starts on the day you sign up.

Can I pause or cancel my subscription?

Both, anytime. Pause for a month, a season, or until you're ready to resume — you can do it self-serve from your account. Cancel the same way: a few clicks, no fees, no friction.
